Police Department


The Wynne Police Department was established to protect the citizens of Wynne. We strive to accomplish this goal in a variety of ways. The various sections of this department, and this website are tools we use in that endeavor. Our goal is to have a community where everyone can feel safe and secure. Our department has many specialized sections that are provided to serve the needs of the City of Wynne.

These Include:

- Designated supervisors that are responsible for running the department. This division consists of a chief and a lieutenant, as well as an administrative secretary.


Patrol Division - Uniformed officers that patrol the streets of Wynne 24 hours a day. We currently have Four Sergeants and Ten patrolmen on staff.

Criminal Investigations - Comprised of one lieutenant, one detective and one CID secretary. The detectives are on call 24 hours a day.

SRO - Two uniformed officer assigned to be in our school.

S.R.T. TEAM - The Special Response Team responds to various high risk situations.

The Police Department is located at 206 South Falls.  Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM.  The phone number is 238-8718 and the fax number is 238-4055. After hours emergency number is 870-238-5700.

Police reports can obtained from the Police Department after 2 working days of the incident at a cost of $5.00.  Accident reports can obtained from the Police Department or online at www.crashdocs.org/ar-cityofwynne after 5 working days of the accident at a cost of $10.00.
